"Wicked Squicken" tournament champs!

2: Pool Play
This 5 team, 30 player, tournament included 10 rounds of pool play (each team plays 3 matches of 2 sets totaling 6 games played). The top 3 teams broke into the seeded playoff bracket. Only 1 team was under the tournament player cap (24 points) and they finished 2nd in pool and made the finals! All teams were in the running for breaking or a plan-in game until the conclusion of set 10 of pool play! The Pool Play results were:
5th: "Serves You Right" 2-6 record with a -14 point diff 4th: "Sick Packed" 3-5 record with a -8 point diff
3rd: "Back Up Plan" went 4-4 record with a -1 point diff
2nd: "Mission:Unblockable" went 5-3 record with a +1 point diff
1st: "Wicked Squicken" went 6-2 record with a +22 point diff
Note: All tournaments have point caps to ensure competitive balance. If a team were deemed to be over the point cap they would be Disqualified from playoffs.
3: Semi-Finals
In a battle of the # 2 seed "Mission:Unblockable" and # 3 seed "Back Up Plan" the semi finals was not close to start. "Back Up Plan" was down 9 and twice cut the lead to 3 before "Mission:Unblockable" pulled ahead and closed the game with a win 25-20.
Note: In playoffs a team must win a set by 2 points, even if they get to 25 first!
4: Finals: "Wicked Squicken" v "Mission:Unblockable"
This one set finale was not close as "Wicked Squicken" proved to have too much defense and clutch serving. They twice held large leads and won the cash prize with a final score of 25-18!
"Mission:Unblockable" went 6-4 on the day with a -1 point diff as runner up! "Wicked Squicken" celebrated going 7-2 with a +29 point diff as tournament champs!
